How to measure for LOWA

Measure heel-to-toe standing, using the longer foot, with hiking socks on. LOWA's charts are built around true foot length -- the brand states it already adds 15mm of length (12mm for children) when recommending a size, so do NOT add toe room to your measurement yourself before looking it up.

LOWA fit guidance

Two LOWA-specific things worth knowing. First, LOWA's women's US sizing depends on how the boot is built: models with CEMENTED construction and models with INJECTED construction run a half US size apart at the same physical length. The women's figures here follow LOWA's cemented column, so if you are buying an injected-construction model, add a half size. Second, LOWA's EU scale skips 43 entirely -- it runs 42.5 then 43.5 -- so an EU 43 result from another brand does not map onto a LOWA size. Buy by foot length or EU size rather than assuming your usual US number.
