How to Use ShoeSizeIt
A two-and-a-half-minute walkthrough of every feature, following one household: Alex, an adult, and Alex's child Maya. Measure first: our two-minute measuring video shows how.
Introduction (0:00)
One measurement. Your size in 35 brands. Each one comes from the brand’s own chart. First, measure your foot. Our two-minute video shows how. The link is in the description. Watch the measuring video.
Find your size (0:19)
Alex’s foot measures 26.5 cm. Choose a category and a brand, then tap Calculate my size. In Nike men’s, that’s US 8.5, UK 7.5, EU 42. That’s Alex’s best starting size, rounded up when a foot falls between two sizes. Below the result, the site names the chart it used, and gives Nike’s own fit advice. Open the calculator.
Compare all brands (0:46)
Tap Compare all brands to see the same foot in every brand. Nike says US 8.5. Adidas says US 9.5. Same foot, different numbers. That’s why one chart is not enough. Browse the brand charts.
Convert a size you know (1:01)
No tape measure to hand? Start from a size you already wear. Alex wears a US 9.5 in Adidas. Convert, and Hoka comes out at US 8.5. It works through foot length, so treat a result near a half size as approximate. Convert a size you know.
Kids and widths (1:18)
Now Maya, at 19.8 cm. New Balance publishes its own children’s chart, so Maya’s size comes from New Balance’s data. On has no children’s chart of its own. The site says so, and uses the standard youth scale instead. New Balance also sizes adult widths. Alex adds a forefoot width of 10.2 cm, and gets a width: D, Standard. See the kids' chart.
Profiles and history (1:44)
Save each result under a name, like Maya. Kids’ sizes change fast, so keep a record. Each measurement adds a point to Maya’s growth chart. Export the whole history as a CSV file. Start a profile in the calculator.
Share, print, offline (1:58)
Send a result as a link, or show a QR code. Print it for the shop. And after your first visit, the site works with no connection.
