Shoe Size Chart: US, UK, EU, Japan & International

A general international conversion chart keyed on foot length in centimetres. Use this when you want a rough cross-country conversion — but note that no single offset converts cleanly between systems, which is why brand-specific charts exist.

Why these are estimates, not exact conversions

Each sizing system was standardised independently and they do not share a common reference point. EU sizing is based on the Paris point, where one whole size is about 6.67 mm of length; the US and UK scales use different bases again. There is no single number you can add or subtract to move between them reliably.

On top of that, every manufacturer builds shoes on its own last and publishes its own chart against it — so two brands can label very different foot lengths with the same size number. For an accurate result, use the brand's own chart:

Measuring accurately

A conversion chart is only as good as the measurement behind it. See how to measure your foot for the two-minute method.
