1. What this site is
ShoeSizeIt is a free reference tool that estimates shoe sizes from a measured foot length, using a generic international chart and brand-specific charts compiled from published manufacturer size guides and independent retailer sources. It is provided for general informational purposes only.
2. Sizing results are estimates, not guarantees
Shoe fit depends on far more than foot length — width, arch height, material, shoe construction, and individual models all affect fit, and manufacturers occasionally revise their sizing between product lines or seasons. The sizes shown by this calculator are a starting-point estimate based on the data described in Section 3, not a guarantee that a given size will fit any particular shoe. Always check the specific retailer's or manufacturer's size guidance for the exact product you intend to buy, and consult a size-exchange or return policy before purchasing based solely on this tool.
3. Accuracy of brand data
We check each brand's chart in this tool against that brand's own published size guide, or against multiple independent retailer transcriptions where the brand's own chart could not be read directly. We update charts when we find discrepancies, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is current or error-free — sizing data can change as brands update their charts. If you spot something that looks wrong, we'd genuinely like to hear about it at shoesizeit@gmail.com.
4. No liability for purchasing decisions
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShoeSizeIt and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the sizing information provided, including but not limited to the cost of returns, exchanges, or shipping for shoes that do not fit as expected. The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt its normal operation, scraping it at a volume that degrades service for other visitors, or using it to violate any applicable law.
6. Local storage and your data
As explained in our Privacy Policy, your measurements, history, and preferences are stored locally in your own browser. We do not warrant that this data will persist indefinitely — clearing your browser data, switching devices, or browser storage limits can remove it, and we are not responsible for any resulting data loss.
7. Third-party links and services
This site may link to third-party websites (such as brand size-guide pages) or use third-party services (such as QR code generation or advertising networks) that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites or services.
8. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
