About ShoeSizeIt

ShoeSizeIt is a free shoe size calculator with size charts for 35 brands. It is run by one person, independently. It is not owned by, paid by or affiliated with any shoe brand or retailer.

Why it exists

The same size number doesn't fit the same foot in every brand. Take a men's UK 8: Nike and 14 other brands make it for a foot 27 cm long, nine brands for a 26.5 cm foot, and Steve Madden for a 25.7 cm foot. Most size charts skip this and treat a UK 8 as a UK 8 everywhere. ShoeSizeIt starts from the length of your foot instead, which doesn't change, and looks it up in each brand's own size chart.

What is here

• The calculator: enter your foot length once and get your size in all 35 brands, with the brand's own width fitting for brands that make width fittings. It works offline after your first visit.
• 35 brand size charts, each with the brand's men's and women's charts, its children's and width charts where it publishes them, its own fit advice, and whether it runs small compared with the other brands.
• 28 size conversion pages, each converting one UK, US or EU size brand by brand.
• Guides to measuring your foot, width fittings, wide feet and children's sizes.

How the charts are checked

• Each figure comes from the brand's own published chart. Where a brand publishes none, two independent sources must agree, and where sources disagree the figure is left out rather than averaged.
• All 152 sources are listed on the brand pages, so any figure can be checked against where it came from.
• Brands revise their charts, so every source is re-checked each quarter, in January, April, July and October. The last full re-check was on 7 November 2026.
• The pages and the calculator read the same chart data, so they cannot disagree, and more than 80 automated checks compare every page with that data before each update.

How the site is paid for

ShoeSizeIt is free, with no account or sign-up, and is paid for by advertising. No brand or retailer can pay to be listed, ranked or described differently, and advertising never changes a size result.

Your measurements stay with you

Your measurements, history and saved profiles are kept in your own browser, not on a server; the site has no database of them. Visits are counted without cookies. The privacy policy has the details.

Corrections and questions

If a figure here disagrees with a brand's current chart, or something on the site does not work, please report it. The contact page says what to include. Corrections go into the brand's data, so every page and the calculator change together.
